1. Love is not only our first and most important core value, but also the first and greatest commandment (Matthew 22:37-39).

It shows forth the character of God, and serves as evidence to the world that we truly are His disciples (John 13:35). The TTN Family will strive, in everything we do, to be a loving, caring, nurturing and supportive body of believers. True love is however also characterized by encouraging others to reach their full stature in Christ, implying that we must speak the truth in love, so that we can all grow up in Christ (Ephesians 4:15).

2. Commitment to God's house and His vision for this house, this includes not only ascribing to the vision and mission statement mentioned in this document, and the Scriptures, but also to that vision and mission given through by the Senior Minister (Setman) of this family (Psalm 69:9 & Romans 12:11).

3. Submission to God and His chosen servant, the Setman, manifested in attitude and in action, through unwavering obedience (Hebrews 13:17). Understanding that submission and obedience is for your own benefit and that it does not necessarily come automatically, but has to be learnt (Hebrews 5:8).

4. Dedication to loving and serving God and this house by means of the practical and tangible investment of one's time, energy and resources. It is through this service of laying down one's life for the Body that the Character of Christ is manifested (John 15:13 & Romans 12:11).

5. Loyalty and Faithfulness to God and this Family, acknowledging that in this season we do not celebrate gifting, talent or revelation, but rather character. Understanding the importance that God is after Christ being formed in and through you, whose loyalty and faithfulness was above reproach (Galatians 4:19).

This also includes faithfulness and joy (2 Corinthians 9:7) in the giving of your finances, with specific reference to:

a) The first fruits (Principle taught in Exodus 23:19 & Exodus 22: 29-30);

b) The Tithe, which belongs to God (Malachi 3:8-10);

c) The offering (Luke 21:1-4, 2 Corinthians 9:1&2).

6. Meekness/Humility in receiving the implanted word, realizing that it is only in receiving the word with meekness (James 1:21) that our souls will be saved. Also agreeing to, and understanding, the necessity to receive instruction, correction, discipline and reproof in humility, so that we can be complete and mature (2 Timothy 3:16&17).

Walking in humility implies keeping your heart free from offence and being teachable.

7. Transparency in what we do and how we live, we must be a people of integrity in whom the truth reigns in the inward part (Psalm 51:6 & Ephesians 4:15).

We should live our lives in honesty and accountability towards God, ourselves and others. Embracing the truth that it is only in relationships built on these foundations, that true transformation, growth and unity can transpire.

8. Excellence in all that we do, in our service and work rendered to God, as well as in the way we project and present ourselves to people.

Our God is an excellent God and worthy of the best. He gave His best and all for us, we cannot do less.
