Founded on the 24th of April 2005, the TTN church was birthed as an extension of TTN Ministries, of which Dr. Ben Kleynhans is the Founding President. Having been a successful itinerant minister at that time for many years, he realized with his wife Sonja, that God was calling them to the establishing of an Apostolic House in Pretoria.

Since then, the TTN church has been experiencing phenomenal growth, which can of course only be ascribed to the magnificent grace and favor of God, to whom belongs all the glory!

This growth does not necessarily refer to only numerical growth, but also more importantly so  to growth in spiritual substance and influence.

By God's grace this local house, which serves as the 'engine room' so to speak for many of the activities of TTN Ministries, has been used effectively to touch the lives of hundreds of leaders from all Nations, through the various Conferences and events hosted by TTN Ministries since 2005.

Since the inception of the church, our vision was to build accurately on the correct and only pattern, Christ; according to God's eternal, governmental order, rule and reign, and through that to Touch the Nations, through the events hosted by this ministry.

Amidst the several promises that the Holy Spirit gave us as an infant church, we believe that the following two played a pivotal role in embracing and following hard after the mandate given to us from His Throne:

God said that although it was a new way for us, a way that we had not been before (Joshua 3:4) His presence would go with us and that He would give us rest.

EXODUS 33:14-15

14 The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

15 Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. NIV

And by the Grace of God, we went because we were sent, strengthened by the wonderful knowledge that He who sent us was (and is) with us, every step of the way.

He also promised that He would bring the baby (this church) to birth and that it would be a quick work. A fact that many of those who were part of the church from the beginning, can attest to. Praise God.

ISAIAH 66:7-9

7 "Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.

8 Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.

9 Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says the LORD. "Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?" says your God. NIV

Also spurred on by God to not build with the sound of a hammer or a chisel (1 Kings 6:7) our set man and father, Dr. Ben, understood that God was saying to not promote the church by way of advertising, so as to specifically avoid drastic numerical growth.

It was resoundingly clear that the Lord was saying that we should primarily focus our attention on first building and strengthening the foundations of those people already in our fellowship, which started of with, quite interestingly and apostolically we believe, 12 members.

After the foundations and pillars of the house had been set in place and strengthened sufficiently, we knew that the time would come to send an open invitation for others to join us on this journey with God, which we only did when we moved to the Sheraton Hotel on the 4th of March 2007.
