At Touch the Nations Ministries we have various departments that help in realising that vision which God has given to us as a family through our spiritual father, Dr. Ben Kleynhans.
Here follows a list with a brief description of the various departments and
its functions:
Apostolic Oversight:
Providing of apostolic counsel, fathering and mentoring of congregants and
leaders within and outside the TTN Congregation. Dr. Ben has been graced by
God to be a father to fathers and as such he also mentors and assists
leaders in their ministries.
Pastoral Care:
Pastoral care of TTN church Members and their immediate families. This
includes such responsibilities as receiving new members into the TTN Family,
Hospital visits, spiritual support, counseling and the like.
Youth:
Providing a unique and tailor made environment for the Youth of the TTN
Congregation, in which what is being taught on Sundays are discussed and
integrated effectively. This is facilitated by monthly meetings.
Children's church:
An integral and dynamic part of the TTN church, acting as a supportive
system to supplement and compliment that which is being taught from the
pulpit and which the parents impart in the children.
Music Department:
Responsible for the Praise and Worship of the services and other events
hosted by TTN Ministries. Ensuring that the sound of this season be released
and taught to the congregation as by the direction of the Holy Spirit and
the setman of the house.
Ushering Department:
Receiving and welcoming of members and visitors on Sundays and other
arranged events. Ensuring that order prevails during the services as the
message is being delivered, also responsible for performing such functions
as security, seating arrangements, offerings and communion.
Hospitality Department:
Ensures that hospitality is extended and maintained towards guest speakers,
senior minister and spouse, taking care of the needs and requests of
visiting ministers, which includes such responsibilities as the placing of
gifts, water, serving of coffee/tea etc.
Venue Set-up: This team of dedicated and hard working members forms the backbone of what is seen and experienced at the Sunday services and other events concerning the venue. The Set-up team is responsible for the set-up and preparation of the whole venue, which includes such items as the stage, the chairs, the decor etc.
Sound & Media
Technical: Ensuring that the vehicle
through which the message is delivered is in excellent working order, so
that it compliments the message. This includes responsibilities such as the
sound desk, operating of the multimedia tools (PowerPoint/worship software
program), lights etc.
Graphics Department:
Responsible for ensuring that the TTN Website, and other visual graphical
products are delivered in excellence. Applying the skills and talents of
those gifted with Graphical design abilities to portray that image outwardly
which the Lord impresses on the heart of the father of this family.
Administrative
Department: Ensuring that all
administrative related enquiries and
operations are performed effectively. The Administrative Department aims at
delivering infrastructural support to the ministry so as to help the
Ministry achieve its goals.
Human Resource
Department: Responsible for the
correct and efficient allocation of
Human resources and ensuring efficiency in staffing and volunteer positions
within the ministry.
Financial Department:
Stewarding the finances and resources which the Father entrusts to TTN
Ministries; ensuring that the funds sowed into this Body are channeled and
distributed according to God's will.
